The project partnership hosted the first of the series of Learner Teacher & Training Activity (LTTA) in Trieste in Italy during the week 10-14 June 2024.
Learners from Ireland, Germany, Romania, Greece and Slovenia joined social entrepreneurship activists, volunteers and learners to engage on a week of immersive activity to advance their knowledge, understanding and skills in the field of social enterprise.
Concluding the week of training events, visits of best practice and cultural engagements the learners presented their inspirational vision for new social enterprise opportunities, ranging from hospitality, community kitchens, holistic therapy wellbeing centres, all designed to support people with additional needs, disadvantaged groups and vulnerable people.
A week of work based learning has resulted in new friendships and potential future collaboration.
