The Partnership held the fifth Transnational Project Meeting of the Digi-Lance4SE Project in Zalec, Slovenia.
Zalec is a picturesque town located in south eastern Slovenia, nestled in the heart of the Lower Savinja Valley. Known for its stunning natural beauty, Zalec has become a popular destination for both tourists and outdoor enthusiasts. The town is particularly renowned for its lush green surroundings, including the nearby Zalec Castle, which dates back to the 13th century, and the enchanting Šempeter Forest, offering hiking and cycling opportunities.
A must see in Zalec is its unique and innovative attraction known as the “Green Gold” beer fountain, where
visitors can sample a variety of local craft beers from self-service taps in a scenic garden setting, celebrating the region’s rich brewing heritage.
